Each project is designed in direct response to local needs, following a respectful, realistic, and sustainable approach.

2024 Project – Construction of the community poultry farm

In 2024, thanks to the generosity and support of our donors, Massékopé – Village of Hope was able to carry out an essential project for the village:
the construction of a sustainable community poultry farm at the heart of Massékopé.

This project was conceived as a concrete and long‑term response to several fundamental needs of the children and the community.

A direct and multi‑dimensional impact

The community poultry farm now plays a key role in village life:

  • Nutrition
The eggs produced provide a regular and accessible source of protein, helping to improve children’s nutrition.

  • Food self‑reliance
The village is now able to produce part of its own food, reducing its dependence on external assistance.

  • Local income
The sale of a portion of the eggs generates income that can be used to cover other essential needs, such as medical care or school supplies.

  • Education and learning
Children learn the basics of animal farming and the management of a small agricultural project, developing practical skills that will be useful for their future.
